Bagan–The Land of Pagodas

On our first day in Bagan, we rode in horse carriages to visit some famous pagodas.  The pagodas were beautiful and the Buddhas inside of them were huge.  You can climb one of the pagodas and see amazing views of Bagan.

The next day, I explored Bagan on my own.  I visited some pagodas that were more off the grid from where tourists usually visit.  I climbed up one pagoda and saw little monks getting their picture taken with umbrellas, most likely for post cards.  I wandered through open land and went from pagoda to pagoda.  One pagoda had missing Buddhas and some of the pagodas were not well kept.
